I miss the windows letting me to choose if I want delete the file infected, send it to quarantine, or ignore, or do other things with it…
Is there a way to configure Avast to prompt me what to do with the file instead of just sending it to quarantine automatically without any option?

So all I need to do is to change the default option under “actions” from “move to quarantine” to “ask”?

Yes that is all you need to do.
However, there is that option in other shields also.

I don’t have a virus here right now so changed the option to “ask” and when I back from university with my pen drive I’ll tell you what I think. ;D
