hi this is a new virus avast has does not detected
DESPITE mailing this to them more than a week ago
NAME>>microsoftpowerpoint.exe/microsoft.exe
TYPE>> it is a AUTORUN type excutes automatically wiyh the help of “autorun.inf”
it is a hidden system folder
replicates it self via flash drives
DAMAGE>> U cant open orkut or mozilla web page
ur folder options are disabled even if u can view it u cant change to view hidden and system
folders…
ANTIDOTE>> type “virus+microsoftpowerpoint” in google
or click on these links>>
and mind u i had mailled 2 malwares to avast hoping that i could find a solution one of them is
VBS:Solow
which avast has been able detect from todays update

and thumbs down to avast for is slow response
and it has still not been able to detect this one…sad real sad
i thought this was about rapid response to spreading viruses:(
