OS Mavericks (10.9) compatibility

After installing the new Mavericks OS today, upon reboot the OS reported Avast wasn’t compatible. Yet it didn’t seem to quarantine or deactivate it. Have you updated your engine yet for full Mavericks support?

Thanks.

I got this too. The problem seems to be with the preference pane of avast!. If you attempt to open the avast! preference pane it gives:
“Internal error!
An internal error occurred. You may find more info by opening the avast! application or by searching he system logs.”

I’m running the latest build, 39915.

Edit:
The preference pane works, you have to access the preference pane in the Incompatible Software folder on the main drive. Double clicking the Avast.prefPane file to open resolves the problem for me at least.

Переустановка всё решила…

Same for me here.

i got that info upon installing 10.9 as well.

thanks for hint for the pref pane in the incompatible folder. it did work after installing it again.

but i noticed now this…and i dont know if its due to maverick or if it is older:

in the webrep : it says in google chrome the module is installed and is fine.
for firefox and safari, its says it needs to be activated respctiuvely there… but i dont see a place where i can do it.
