Hi,
I have been running Sophos on my Macs for a while but after a spate of system crashes and lack of support from Sophos decided to uninstall and install Avast. Trouble is despite removing Sophos and physically deleting any files from the system, Avast still reports that Sophos is still installed.
Any ideas?

Problem solved. Turns out simply uninstallling and rebooting wasn’t enough. Had to trawl through the filesystem, delete all references to sophos and reboot again…
Next time please post in the MAC section 
Bob, if you are wondering why you end up with code instead of the emoticons in quoted text; to remove the code change your > Forum Profile > Look and Layout - and uncheck the ‘Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default.’ option.
If I do that, then I have a problem inserting code to post pictures etc.
OT:
Does the image tag not work for inserting images then ?
That should work to display the images saved elsewhere.
This is a test:
[HTML in clipboard you must paste as “Rich formatting” when composing an email or in other applications that accept html]
By making the change, the image is no longer displayed.
We never had this problem before the forum revival. 
I can get around it with a picture by using the
