OTL Tutorial now made public

For those that are interested an OTL tutorial has now been made public. It may be viewed at most reputable malware sites that use OTL as their primary analysis tool
For non-English speakers at http://www.smokey-services.eu/forums/index.php/board,215.0.html we have translated it into German (now) and Spanish (In the next few days) as well as English. I believe http://www.linhadefensiva.org/ is in the process of translating to Portugese

If there are any questions please ask

German version now back up http://www.smokey-services.eu/forums/index.php/board,215.0.html

The Spanish tutorial will be available available for reading in the next few days after we have completed the proof reading

Also the dedicated German and English language malware removal forums are now open and ready for business ;D Spanish will be ready in about a week

English http://www.smokey-services.eu/forums/index.php/board,5.0.html

German http://www.smokey-services.eu/forums/index.php/board,205.0.html

Not I ;D We have three excellent qualified Spanish malware analysts, and currently one German (looking for another two ) and three English. The Spanish speakers are competent in European and South American Spanish. The OTL programme itself is slowly being translated into multiple languages with Danish being the latest

Hmm just had a thought could this be construed as spam - seeing that I am advertising a malware forum ???

I certainly wouldn’t consider it spam, people come here seeking help with malware infections and this tool helps you/us to help them. So the tutorial on how to use it is almost essential to that, unless Alwil software would consider hosting a copy of the tutorial (possibly in the support.avast area), which I somehow doubt ;D

We regularly send people to bleepingcomputers for such cleaning tutorials, etc.

Spanish forum and tutorials now open for business ;D
