Out ogf date Alarm from XP

I have installed avast version 4.7 Home edition along with windows XP home edition. It was working well until last week. when i receiveved a Windows XP secutrity center error report “avast antivirus 4.7.892 [VPS 0646-2] reports that it might be out of date” I tried reinstalling avast again . but still i get the same alert. could some one please help me on this

I doubt that you could have received this message last week … because signature file VPS 0646-2 has a compilation date of 7th November 2006 and that is not a week ago anywhere on the planet.

Please check very carefully the day, month and year currently shown by your system … it should be somewhere about the 9th day of the 11th month of 2006.
