Outgoing filter not working

Hi,
I have a Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.1.1. I also have the most recent avast! version installed from Goole Play. I tried to enable outgoing call blocking for one number. After creating an entry in the filter menu calls to that number are not being blocked. I enabled outgoing call blocking, selected all weekdays and time from 00:00 till 23:59. Connections to the blocked number show up in the log as if they were blocked but they are not.

What can be causing this behaviour?

Hi,

tried it on Galaxy Nexus 4.1.1 and it works fine. How exactly did you add the number? I tried “Custom number”. What dialer did you use? I used the stock one.

Stock dialer and custom number as well, my phone is rooted. What exactly should happen when I try to dial a blocked number. In my case standard calling screen appears and the connection is made.

how did you enter the custom number? (Screenshot preferred.) After you tap the call button (white phone icon in my case), homescreen should appear.

OK! I fund the problem. I had an app called Hidden Call installed. After removing it avast call filter works fine. After reinstalling it the filter works untill I add a Hidden Call widget to my screen and change Hidden Call setting with it.

Is there any chance for avast and Hidden Call working together fine?

Hi,

the app doesn’t work for me (meaning the caller always see my number), but I think I was able to reproduce and fix the issue. Hope it’s going to be better in the next version :slight_smile:
