I’m using Outlook 2003 running XP Pro and Avast 4.7 Home Edition.
When I look at avast! On-Access Scanner, I see under Outlook/Exchange “The provider is waiting for a subsytem to start.”
Are my e-mails being scanned? Is this a problem?
Just a day or two ago, Avast caught a netsky incoming virus so it was working then. I haven’t changed anything since.

“Make sure the avast plugin is not disabled into MS Outlook.
