I am having the same problem as sdsguru, having decided to try Avast Pro. The avast plugin is not disabled in Outlook and the Outlook/Exchange settings are as per the screenshot, yet I can still only access the Inbox, Junk and Outbox folders.
Isn’t it affecting Outlook in any way?
Maybe you can open Outlook, disable avast plugin, boot, open Outlook again and enable the plugin, close outlook, boot, test if the configuration get right. I know it’s stupid…
Mine is working and I’m not good with mail troubleshooting…
AVG or Avast?
AVG has been uninstalled and Avast is affecting Outlook as described above.
I cannot disable the avast plugin from Outlook as it does not appear in the list of add-ins and if I try to terminate the Outlook/Exchange service, it restarts again after a reboot even if I click Yes to persist the change.
This is not a great start to my Avast experience!
When I open Outlook I see the splash screen for MS Outlook/Exchange plug-in, but the plug-in does not appear anywhere in the Add-ins tab under Trust Center.
