Outlook 2007??

I just installed Office 2007 and Outlook gives an error about the Avast plug-in and disables it. How do I get Avast working with Outlook 2007?

Should be working OK…

What is the exact error message? Are you using avast v. 4.7.892? Can you re-enable the avast plugin from Outlook → Help → Disabled Items?

Yes to the version.

There was no error message, it just hung Outlook on starting so I killed Outlook. When I restarted Outlook, it stated that the plugin caused the hang and offered to disable it. After getting your response, I rebooted, made sure the Outlook provider was running and then followed the help–> disabled items to enable it. I restarted Outlook again and it appears to be working fine now.
