Outlook 2010 plugin and SMIME always encrypts messages

I have updated to avast 7.0.1407. I am also using Outlook 2010 and have a email certificate from Verisign. Normall, I sign all my outgoing emails, but do not encrypt it. This worked fine before the avast update.

After the update, when the Outlook 2010 AntiSpam plugin is enabled and running, Outlook always seems to encrypt the mails, and does not only sign them.

Removing the AntiSpam plugin from outlook solves this problem.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Can you please confirm whether or not your mail shield is set to scan outbound emails? If so, do you add clean note to the outgoing emails? Does the email get delivered ok? Is it readable after decryption or is it mangled?
