Outlook 2010 settings help needed.

I am using Avast Internet Security.

I am using Outlook and retrieving mail from live.com.

I have tried to use the settings mentioned here on the support page[ https://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=458&nav=0,1,20 ] but outlook won’t function properly when I disable the SSL/TSL and change the ports to 110 & 25. So I have to leave the settings of 995 & 25 intact, or do I ? What other configuration might work ? ???

The Mail Shield reports no incoming or outgoing mail as scanned, probably because of the settings I am using.

I have attached 2 pix showing my settings I hope they come thru.

Any help is appreciated, ;D

I got it to work with my Windows Live account, through Outlook.( Don’t want to use Outlook Connector) For those wondering, the attached pix show my settings. All e-mail goes thru avast & works great now.
