Outlook crashes whenever i try to enable the avast add in. This happened after the last avast update. Any ideas?

I don’t have advice for fixing your problem, but I wanted to mention that it seems to work okay here in Outlook 365, which I guess is closely related to Outlook 2013.

I have the same problem. Outlook 2013 running under Windows 8. Does Avast have an answer?
Outlook crashed and reports that the crash was caused by the Avast add in and the add in was disabled. If I enable the add in, Outlook crashses.
tara, to fix the issue i uninstalled avast and reinstalled and the addin works as usual now. I am running windows 8.1 as well. Give that a try…

Having the same problem. Have tried to enable it about 50 times, no success. I will uninstall/reinstall avast and see if it works for me also. Thank you.
