Outlook 2016 - Avast IS 2015 plug-in installed, but no SPAM - NOT SPAM controls

I upgraded to Outlook 2016 recently. I see that the Avast Internet Security 2015 plug-in is installed in the COM section of Outlook, but I have no idea if IS is scanning my emails any longer, plus the SPAM - NOT SPAM controls no longer appear in the Outlook Ribbon.

Is this problem being addressed and can someone at AVAST assure me that my emails are still being scanned?

Check the Avast stats for activity while receiving mails.
