I am running Outlook 2003 on a Windows Vista OS. Outlook has been working fine for 2 years However, ever since I installed Avast on the PC. Outlook keeps crashing when I start it. I have since unistalled Avast, but Outlook keeps crashing.
Would appreciate any help

Check your Avast Virus Chest if it had accidently flagged some outlook files as Trojan and do a restore.
Update your Avast to VPS 091203-1

How can samardh check the avast virus chest, he has uninstalled it and that would remove all of avast including the chest.

Does this create any entry in the windows event viewer, if so try a google search on any error numbers or keywords in the error text.
I don’t use Outlook, but isn’t there an option if you try to uninstall it, it offers a repair option ?
