Outlook Express and Avast!

Avast was highly recommended to me andI installed Avast home edition ??? on my friends computer (XPHome).
When I press send and receive in OE6 I get the message…the server rejected the the senders email address
Server 127.0.0.1. Protocol SMTP
Server Response 550 Cannot connect to server mail:iolfree.ie:25 connect error 10061, Port 25, SSL no
Sever error 550 Error Number 0x800CCC78

In few words the solution could be:

  1. Close OE
  2. Run Mail Protection Wizard form Start Menu
    Follow the Windows to protect your email accounts
  3. Open OE and see if the configurations are good.
    Generally, the problem could be at smtp authentication.
    Try:
    username#smtpservername
    or just
    #smtpservername
