Outlook Express Progress Bar

I’m using Avast 4.6 Home Build 4.6.603. The progress bar don’t work when downloading new mail. I shut down Avast and it works fine but will not work with Avast running. I like to see the this progress bar working. Any Ideas ? Owiee
