I do not use Outlook express at this time. Should I stop the service?
I can always restart it if I ever use it.

Hi iddawg717!

Basically you can always stop the providers and restart them whenever you want, but it doesn’t really improve anything in case of speed… as they don’t consumpt power when they are running but not used.

So if you want you can, but it hasn’t got an enhancement I think… :slight_smile:

Besides, if you let it running at High security level, it will detect any spambot trying to send emails (unauthorized) from your computer.
Look, Outlook Express uses Internet Mail provider. MS Outlook uses the plugin with the same name.
