outlook mail

I d/l’d avast and ran setup. It got to a screen that ask for the stmp and pop info for the mail account that it should send through. I use Outlook.

I use a local cable company as my internet provider and I gave the stmp and pop for them. (mail.cableone.net) However in Outllook I also have a few other mail accounts. For example I use Myrealbox.com which is a web based mail server, but you can send and receive thru Outook. I receive and send my myrealbox mail from outlook with seperate stmp and pop info. (mail.myrealbox.com)

So… are all my other accounts being protected by avast too, not just cableone.net???

Yes, all accounts that you have checked in Mail Protection Wizard at page E-mail Account Selection are protected. Or if you have selected “Automatically protect all my accounts”, it finds and protects all accounts in Outlook Express that use SMTP/POP or IMAP. If you are unsure, open avast! On-Access Scanner dialog by clicking “a”-icon in taskbar, select “Internet Mail”, click Customize, select Advanced and check “Show detailed info …”. It will display the message at lower right corner when downloading and scanning mail.

I just upgraded my Free Avast Account yesterday for $19.99 Order # 15550602842 on October 9, 2014 paid by VISA card. I downloaded but can’t activate the Junk Removal. It keeps linking me to Outlook which I do not have set up on my lap top. I would like to change my email address of record to my gmail account which is dick 617@gmail.com. Please tell me how to do that. Thank you.
