P2P: Does it make sense to add the port to Web Shield?

Hi,

I know the P2P shield keeps scanning the downloaded files in utorrent.
But does it make sense to add the specific port of the p2p application to the web shield redirected ports? i.e., do ports for P2P incoming connections need added to web shield for additional protection over and above P2P Shield - to check the connection plus the downloaded file?

No. WebShield scans only HTTP traffic, not UDP and TCP.
It’s not the same, it’s not easy to scan non-http traffic. It was discussed elsewhere…
