P2P Sheild doesn't work!

I thought it would prevalent to start a new topic considering this one got off-topic/highjacked near the end. Anyway its there for reference.

Okay, Ive been searching for the answer to my problem with no luck. Ever since Ive used Avast my P2P Sheild has not scan a single file. I use Bit Torrent alot.
So I went into customize in my P2P tab and noticed that there were quite a few clients/file sharing programs supported, Bit Torrent being one of them.

Bit Torrent, at least now is a term thats used very loosely. Because this encompasses alot of programs such as Azereus, ABC and BitLord ect ect…
I was wandering if someone could clarify what “Bit Torrent” means?

Right now I’m using BitLord but before I was using ABC and then Azereus.
Could this be why my P2P scanner is not working (Program(s) not supported)

If this is not the case then can someone help me boot up this scanner please?
Maybe an ini tweak or something?

Hi, BitTorrent in avast! means P2P program with BTDOWNLOADGUI.EXE or BT++.EXE process name. So if your P2P client from “BitTorrent family” has such name, it will be scanned, otherwise not. But it’s not difficult to add new program into P2P shield, simply write me your wish to sedina@avast.com. thanks!
