Paid for Avast Premier - 1 PC, 1 Year but works for 2 PCs

Hi Avast,

I want to confirm if my subscription which I paid for Avast Premier - 1 PC, 1 Year is actually what it is. This is because my subscription with the activation key provided worked for my PC as well as my wife’s PC. Meaning the activation code worked for 2 PCs despite paying for Avast Premier - 1 PC, 1 Year. Can you let me know what is going on.

Quite easy, if you use the license on more systems than paid, it can get revoked/locked.

Thanks for the message. However, I have been using it like this for the last 2 years and I have just recently renewed it. I paid for 1 PC but it works for 2 PCs and the license has never been revoked or locked. I believe the license works for 2 PCs because if not, then it should not have worked for another PC in the first instance and Avast should have revoked it. On my wife’s PC it says licence to my name because i paid for the license.

No idea then, either you’re just lucky or your license is valid for more than 1 system.
