Paid users can no longer use VPN,How to solve

On May 25, 2020, I purchased a VPN program for 2 years, and I used it normally on my PC in northern China. iPhone 11 pro mx cannot be used most of the time, and I can connect occasionally. :-\

Since July 17, 2020, the VPN program suddenly fails to connect. :o At this time, it is confirmed that the program has been upgraded to 5.6.4982. I don’t know if it’s because of the control of the Chinese network or the program upgrade. :-X

I looked at the forum information, China area cannot be used normally, but when I purchased it, there was no clear prompt to explain the problem. Moreover, it can be used normally within two months. Although the speed is not ideal, I paid for two years and used it for less than 2 month.

Is there any other way I can continue to use it or apply for a refund?

Hi,

If you are using the VPN in China then the issue is more than likely caused by your ISP restricting your usage.
Some countries prohibit or restrict the use of VPNs.
Please see this list: https://www.avast.com/vpn-territory
You can contact support here:https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/

i met this problem also. can AVAST give us a situation way?

r@vast is from Avast and just gave you an answer.

Hello Administrator,
I am also from China.
I am very satisfied with avast vpn.
I have been using it since last year and everything is normal, but starting from July 17, 2020, I will not be able to use Android and Windows normally.
I have subscribed for one year of usage rights.
I have no plans to refund or cancel my subscription.
I have always supported avast vpn.
I think this price is more appropriate and can be sent using udp packets.
This is the best VPN I have seen so far.
My job is network security, I hope the staff of avast vpn can fix it quickly, thank you.

Same for me.
I always like and trust avast product, and I have years of subscription.
I hope you are working on it and this issue can be soon fixed.

If it is China Restrictions on VPN’s that’s causint the problem, nothing can be done by Avast.
