password problem

Today I installed avast mobile security on my HTC One X. An Avast-Password was asked but whatever digits I filled in, I got een red dot with an i in it. I never filled in a password in numbers before. What is the (my) problem???

There are two passwords. One is the one from your mobile (to turn it on and get in). Other is avast! password or, better, a PIN of 6 numbers.

I’ve got problems with my password too. Installed Avast mobile security on my samsung galaxy today and when I try to use avast my password I chose doesnt work… :frowning: tried my SIM password also but no luck. Is there a default password that works if the app didnt go with the one i choose?

You can try 0000.

No luck with that either :frowning:
Luckily I didnt need the PIN to unistall. Ill try to install it again in the future when the problem is solved, looks like many others have the same problem.
