If you forgot your PW, you’ve to reinstall Avast.
I did, using another of my licenses. I went to the gear/Settings to configure my new installation, and the password prompt showed again. What to do?!

For some wonderful reason, I can’t. I am stuck. How to take screenshot of Avast Premium message "An attempt has been made to enter a protected area of Avast (Program Settings). This may be a legitimate action, but could also be the result of a malware attack.

Did you use avastclear when uninstalling ?

Ok, I downloaded it. Now, if I remove this installation, will I have to us my last remaining license to install a clean product?
You can use any valid license that you have.
