Password reset

I have forgotten my password. Don’t see and info on how to reset. Can anyone give me guidance? I have the free version on y home computer.

You can:

Disable avast! self-defense module, boot in Safe Mode and delete the file C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\aswResp.dat. Enable self-defense module again.
Uninstall, boot, install, boot.
