Password

I have avast 4.6 home edition…when I click on the avast icon in the system tray it asks for my password. I don’t remember ever putting in a password. I did input the registration key but don’t remember a password. Anyway, I did try all the passwords I normally use but none of them work. Any recommendations how I can find my password or reset it?

Backup your avast4.ini file (and skins if you want), uninstall, boot, install again and overwrite avast4.ini file. I think it will be the shortest way…
