Where do I get a password for avast? when I right click on the blue avast icon
and want to do something it ask me for a password
Password? Did you set a password previously for avast?
No i havent set a password before
Dies anybody else use that computer, maybe one of them put a password on avast?

Answer Lee’s question before you try anything else. The only way I know how to remove the passwaord is uninstall/reinstall.
There is another way, unpublished as it ‘hacks’ avast protection… but reinstallation will do the job.

No problem, I’ve deleted post. But I doubt that this can be some secret because it takes only several minutes to reinvent this without any previous knowledge.
Common users won’t discover and the administrator password for avast settings will work. Indeed, if we want/need something more reliable, Alwil should improve this setting locking by password… it’s easily circumvented…
