Hi and sorry about the trouble! We’re checking what might be the culprit.

In the meantime, you should be able to add the extension by following the steps below:

  1. Remove the Passwords extension from the browser.
  2. Click ‘Add Extension’ in the Avast Passwords UI.
  3. When the browser opens with the broken redirect, open a second tab.
  4. Paste this URL in the new tab:
  5. Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/emhginjpijfggbofeediiojmdlmlkoik
  6. Firefox: http://extensions.pamcdn.d.avast.com/pamcdn/extensions/firefox/xpi/pam.xpi
  7. Click ‘Add to Chrome’ (Chromium) or ‘Add’ (Firefox) to complete the installation. This should install the extension and link to the app.

I’ve had the same issue, and those links have failed to fix it for me. I also use Opera GX, which has added support for Chrome extensions. Any idea if this can be fixed? I’d like to get back to autofilling my passwords, as well as using your company’s rather impressive random password generation.
