I use Avast Safebrowser n noticed the Passwords Extension does not work anymore? Nothing in settings. Says it doesn’t exist??

Hello, it hard to guess where to start with investigation. Could you please answer following questions so I know where to focus?

[ol]- Is extension’s key icon visible in browser toolbar?

  • If so what happens once you click on it?[/ol]

If the extension icon is not visible in toolbar please check the extension is enabled in extensions settings:

  • click on 3 dots in top right corner of the browser
  • Settings panel will show up
  • Check if Passwords is not greyed out
  • If so click on Passwords to activate it → will become green
  • Extension icon should show up in browser’s toolbar

Please let me know if any of these hints helped to solve your problem.
