I use it now for 2 weeks and it only got 2 or 3 pattern updates.
I was a long time Antivir PE User and in the beginning they also had seldom pattern updates. But in the meantime the pattern updates are there at least once a day.
I miss this “security-feeling” in avast. Makes me kind of nervous to have this long wait time for pattern updates…
Fract, avast updates when needed. It does not give you security-feeling but only security. Updates could be twice a week or, in emergency situations, three times a day.
Take it easy. The first thing on security is believe and trust your provider 8)
