I would suggest you don’t want to install a registry key (.reg file type) nor would you want to have a Panda Anti Virus registry key created.
Have you had Panda AV installed previously (if so how did you get rid of it)?
Have you visited the Panda on-line virus scan?
What is your OS?
Something is trying to run this registry key check for occurance of pav.reg in your registry and startup group.
sure did but that was 3mnths ago
i deleted it properly
i use xp sp2
thanks

These are false detections due to Panda active scan: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=12432.msg104932#msg104932
IMSCAN.DLL
PAVDLL.DLL
PAV.SIG
APVXD.VX2
APVXD.VXD
I think this is related to false detections due to Panda active scan: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=12432.msg104932#msg104932
Unfortunatelly, a well-known problem of Panda not encrypting its signatures
@ Tech
This is not a virus issue, so isn’t a false positive, it is about something trying to run a .reg file to create a registry key for PAV.

You may well have uninstalled PAV months ago but there would appear to be something left that is trying to create a registry key for PAV. You have to find what is issuing the command to run pav.reg as I mentioned.
