Hi, Im a newbie, so am probably doing something wrong, but after istalling Avast I ran the first scan with no problems, but since then I have tried to run the scan again and halfway through the screen goes black. Ive tried in safe mode, but it still does the same, can anyone help please.
Check the power management settings in BIOS and Windows. It could be they are set to shutdown the monitor after X minutes.
Not sure if Im in the right forum, Ive got the free Home edition, if that helps. (Windows 98)
