I was wondering if the Avast Mobile Security is also able to detect PC viruses. Or if there is a possibility to scan an Android mobile phone for PC viruses?

it doesn’t detect PC viruses. But I think you can connect your phone/tablet to your PC and scan its storage like a common USB drive.

Hmmm… I don’t think so. The sdcard is not mounted as a drive with a letter and, so, avast! does not recognize it as a removable media to be scanned.
Am I wrong?
Hmm, just tried, you can scan Android <3, you can’t scan 3+.

Yes, that is my tough as well. Now I’m not sure if it’s an antivirus topic or and Android.
Personally I think it would be useful as if you use the phone as an USB stick you might transfer viruses. Now … Avast Mobile I’m not sure should be loaded with all the virus definitions for PC’s, but maybe Avast for PC could scan attached Android Phones.

Avast desktop is able to detect android malware and avast for android only android malware. Covered, seems to me 
Normaly I agree. I was wondering for computers where I can’t use Avast (my work computer for example)
