PC won´t boot. Black screen

Hello,

Since last week, my PC won´t boot. When I start it normally, I only can get to a black screen with the mouse pointer.
When I start my computer in safe mode, I get to the same black screen and the last driver it loads it´s the aswrvrt.sys.

I don´t have any system restore points.

I´ve attached the FRST.txt that I get when running the 64-bit Windows 7 Repair disc.

We will try the last regback initially… Can you remember what occurred prior to the non booting ?

Download the attached fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Start FRST as before and press fix
Then try a normal boot

Hello,

I´ve applied the fixlist.txt and I’ve tried a normal boot but I get the same black screen with the mouse pointer.

I can´t remember how it was my last succesful booting but lately I have been getting sometimes beep codes upon startup.

I´ve attatched the FRST.txt I`ve got after applying the fix.

What beep codes are you getting at boot ?

If you have two RAM sticks could you remove one and then try

Hello,

I’ve checked the beep codes and according to the link that Eddy posted, they were an indication of a problem with the graphic card.
I’ve changed the slot of the graphic card and it seems that the beep codes have vanished… but I still have the same problem with the startup of Windows ( won’t boot ).

Although I’ve have many applications installed, if there is no choice, I will reinstall the operating system.
