Does anyone is using Avast on PcLinuxOS? I installed it and it works well… ;D
Hi joanlui , yes I have for around a year now . Kinda off topic conversation you started , it’s a “avast! 4 for Linux/Unix/Mac” Forum actually , but since you raised the issue of PCLOS , I feel it may die as there is so little support .
Most people use Ubuntu , and Kubuntu it seems ( General and wrong statement , but an element of truth ). PCLOS really was great in the beginning for this machine , whereas others ( People / Machines ) had Hardware problems .
They’ve froze the Repository at PCLinuxOS , as I said , fallen on lean times unfortunately 
EDIT: 06 November 2008, 18:51:27 . On further investigation it appears there will be PCLinuxOS ‘09 .
Personally joanlui , I agree , I like “it” and look forward to its’ further development .
Using Avast! for Linux workstations of course ! ;D
