I utilize government PDF-F forms for work and need to be able to work with them at home but they keep being flagged as a virus. I can download empty forms with no problem but if I try to download forms with information in them or save a form after inputting information they are flagged and quarantined. This seems like a pretty significant error to me as there is no reason that I can see for a simple PDF-F form to be flagged as a virus.
what malware name does avast give?
you may report it here https://support.avast.com → avast virus lab

Probably a FP that has come to haunt Avast again, read here: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=91914.0
Report to virusATavast dot com. Avast team members should look into the detection and may correct it,
as we here cannot as volunteers with relevant knowledge. If a FP indeed they are known to react quicly, sometimes as with a coming update. ;D
