Performance Issues

I am trying out Avast but during Smart Scan it says there are some problems. But when I click Resolve I get an option to buy 2 or 3 versions, but it does not resolve any Performance Issues, so how do I know if there are really any issues at all. Mac

That is the problem with not doing a custom install. Avast installs some restricted function free version of a paid product.

The Smart Scan runs all of these during its scan and it should (as far as I’m aware) display what has been found, but doesn’t remove them unless you are running the paid version.

Personally I stick to the main avast shields as I take care of other issues, performance or clean up personally. It rather depends on your personal requirement whether or not you install the paid components.
