That is the problem with not doing a custom install. Avast installs some restricted function free version of a paid product.
The Smart Scan runs all of these during its scan and it should (as far as I’m aware) display what has been found, but doesn’t remove them unless you are running the paid version.
Personally I stick to the main avast shields as I take care of other issues, performance or clean up personally. It rather depends on your personal requirement whether or not you install the paid components.
