Hey guys, I know this happens often so I’ll get straight to the point. I installed Avast, activated Anti Thief, later on I uninstalled avast, than a few days ago I removed my SIM and Anti Thief locked my phone. I don’t remember the PIN because I used Avast over 15 months ago, and also I didn’t receive a back up PIN. How do I unlock my phone? Thanks

The backup PIN, how does it not work? It says it failed sending the PIN or your other (friend) number just doesn’t receive the SMS?

He just didn’t receive an SMS
Are you sure it was sent to the number you think it was? 
If you set it up 15 months ago, maybe you put a different number there.

I am sure, I used my brother’s number and it is the same.
In that case I’m out of ideas, sorry 
Try searching the forum, there might be something I don’t know off the top of my head.

Is there a way to resend me a backup PIN if I give you a phone number?
Go to my.avast.com to your account where you see your smartphone and try to change your avast password.
