hi avast
i want to reinstall os of my phone so where i will get os for my phone. i m using micromax mobile. my phone got some problem so i want to format os of my phone and reinstall it again.
I suggest your phone vendor (the company who makes the phone).
i tried to search in micromax company but did not find it…
i contacted already to the support and they said to go at service centre for this problem…
Well, do so.
lol i dont want to visit service centre thats y i asked. service centre is far from my town.it situated to another town so i want to reinstall by own if i get… i dont think so that mobile phone os cannot be get. it may be available on any site but i do not know. some ppl reinstall os software of mobile by own…
Well, sorry then, but I’m no expert for micromax.
I didn’t know that they exist until today. ;D
So, if their support can’t help you…
asyn
I agree with Asyn. If you can’t find the information you need online, then you most likely need to call them.
hello
as asyn and safesurf said… i went to service centre of my phone. he said me that this problem happens due to virus in my phone so he reinstalled my os in my mobile. he asked me which av i m using? i said i using avast. i also said him that i scan my phone with avast by connecting with my pc… he said avast do not finds trojans… he said me to use quick heal…
avast does not finds trojans? does avast can also be used for mobile scan? i m using avast internet security. so does it scans trojans also in my phone if i connect with my pc???
and 1 more question is there any mobile av software available? i want free mobile av software
reply any1… :
Avast will protect your machine. Avast will be developing an AV for mobile phones, but it has not been released to the public yet. You can keep checking this part of the forum http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=65103.0 and read what other AV’s are available; there are also suggestions on how to avoid getting malware and security news. Check the forum for when Avast releases the AV for mobile phones.
Yes, you can get malware (viruses) directly on your phone and not from your machine. This is becoming more of a problem these days.
But as to how to reinstall the OS on your phone, we are not familiar with how to do this. That is why we are suggesting we have you contact the people who make your phone and your phone provider (both of them)…or if the malware is that bad, you may need a new phone if it cannot be removed. Remember, many mobile malware steals your data…your Contacts, calender, email account if stored on your phone, credit card if used and stored on your phone, stored and dialed phone numbers, etc. So do not wait on this or you could become a victim of ID Theft. Make the phone calls as we suggested.
