Hello everybody! I’m trying to configure the anti-theft account but it doesn’t connect to the database…
When I insert my user email of my avast account and my password with my number phone I get this error:
“No se ha podido conectar a Google Cloud para el servicio de mensajeria en el dispositivo (PHONE_REGISTRATION_ERROR). Por favor, asegurese de que su cuenta Google esta configurada correctamente”
In English is something like: “It can’t connect to Google Cloud for the message service int the dispositive (PHONE_REGISTRATION_ERROR). Please be sure your Google account is correctly configurated”
Can you say me what is happening with my avast anti-theft? Why can’t I log in into my account from my mobile?
I use a Sony Xperia GO and I live in Spain.

I had the same problem. Avast is not able to use/connect with GCM (Google Cloud Messaging). Try logging into your Gmail account on the device and make sure it’s working. Sounds strange, I know. But it has worked for many people. Also try deleting your google account from the device (Settings → Accounts) and re-add it. There are other solutions you can find by searching Google for “PHONE_REGISTRATION_ERROR gcm”.
