Good morning all,

I hope you are all well, please could I get some advice on registration of Avast! 7 beta 2 FREE Antivirus.

I did a clean install of Avast! 7 beta 2 last night and I received an email from avast! support team saying thank you for registering Avast! and I got a registration key.
My program is showing REGISTERED and I don’t have anywhere to insert the license key or is there somewhere that I have to insert license key into the free version?

When the beta 2 was released, there were some problems with the registration server. Maybe they already solved the problem.

Go to avast main GUI → maintenance → registration. Does it say “registered” there? You should also see the expiration date for your current free registration.

If that info is OK, then you don’t need to do anything else, until the expiration date. When the registration expires, simple renew the registration from the same built in window.
