Since today, I ran a quick scan with the program and under the system file shield, pop-ups keep appearing for viruses. This is my screen (files continue to appear though)
I read some information on evo-gen and I’m really scared now. Help!

hi saltnpepper,
As of right now, avast! is protecting your system by blocking and quarantining the virii files to chest.
Suggest access to a clean system and posting all requested logs for malware analysis by a malware removal expert. Based on what these logs contain, a fix will be proposed, and you will run the fix and report back.
Using a clean system instead of your infected one will prevent deeper and further infection; you will transfer needed programs, files, and logs back and forth as needed. You can begin by attaching the required logs using the clean system in the beginning.
AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes, OTL, and aswMBR.exe are the ones to start with.

Once the required logs are attached (not pasted) a malware expert will be notified.
Thanks for replying. I ran the scans and here are my attached logs
Note: The logs in avast have continued to increase
i see you have AVG and avast installed… never install multiple AV
this will give you a slow machine, mysterious windows errors and false detections…
uninstall one and then run the vendors removal tool to clear any leftover files that may conflict
removal tools. run and reboot. http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/
on your screenshot…
.put your mouse pointer on the vertical bar just in front of severity and dragg sideways…take new screenshot… then we can see the full file path of what is detected
malware removers are notified and will check your logs when they arrive here later today
If you can provide a new screenshot that shows the entire path of the quarantined files…
Nothing showing in the log what programme was this detection related to … It was in the programme files folder
Here’s a screenshot with the full path
Do you also have Trend antivirus as that is what it appears to be, avast detecting Trends unencrypted virus signature files.
It seems as if it’s in my files… should I uninstall it then?
What do you mean it is in all your files ?
This appears that you have yet another AV installed, having two (or more) resident AVs installed is a recipe for trouble, not just the fact that avast is detecting its unencrypted virus signatures. You have to uninstall the Trend Micro Client Server Security Agent. It seems that this security program comes pre-installed on Dell systems
So should I immediately uninstall both AVG and trendmicro since they came with the computer?
Yes, having two resident anti-virus scanners installed is one too many (three is two too many) and not recommended as rather than provide twice (or three times) the protection it can cause conflicts that could leave you more vulnerable.
Okay, I just uninstalled AVG. Working on TrendMicro now… hopefully I won’t get any more virus reports
Thanks for the help!
You’re welcome.
Also see, http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/, this has a collection of manufactures removal tools, so that should remove any remnants, registry, etc.
