PLEASE HELP! Avast NOT Deleting Infected File- Win32:Delf-GD [Trj]

PLEASE HELP! Avast Is NOT Deleting the Trojan Virus- Win32:Delf-GD [Trj]. The Infection simply Reappears on my Avast Scan Results with a different extension in the file name path.

Scan result actions are reporting successful Deletion of the Infected File. However the virus simply reappears in the next Scan with a different extension in the file name path (120804204001). I have run 4 back-to-back Full System Scans so far.

My Last Virus Scan Results:

Scan Date-Time: 08/04/2012 7:31pm (EST)
File Name: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\antiphishing-vmninternethelper1_1dn\data\120804204001-f.list

Please Help!!! How Do Get Rid Of This Thing???

Okay, Avast Full System Scan is 100% Complete. Win32:Delf-GD [Trj] was still found by Avast. Even though the 2nd MBAM found 0 Infected Files. Is there something wrong with Avast? Should I remove Avast and reinstall it?? I’m not sure how to stop this thing now…

Hi 2525,

Removing Avast! probably not a good idea, as it may very well be preventing this infection from getting worse…

Have a look here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

I’m seeing only avast and malwarebyte scans here. You need to attach OTL and aswMBR logs as well. It is safe to run these two programs, but do not fix anything.

Reason we need the logs is because that is how the malware expert can see what is on your system, and where it is, and then begin to fix it.

and why do you qoute yourselfe in every post ???

the reply button is at the top and bottom of your topic

Hi mchain, Thank you so much for your response! ;D I will run OTL and aswMBR now, and then attach those logs as well.

Thank you Pondus ;D

Hi Mchain, The OTL Log Is Attached to this post.

http://software.visicommedia.com/en/products/antiphishing/ The detected file is a false positive

There is no indication of malware on the system

Hi essexboy, WoW!!! Thank You so much for that excellent news! You just made day 8)

Run OTL and hit the cleanup button to remove it ;D

@essexboy, That’s great ty I’m on it! ;D

I like an easy one now and then ;D

LOL!!

@essexboy, You’re a ROCKSTAR! LOL! ;D

I performed the OTL Fix, then ran another Avast Scan. It finally came back CLEAN. No win32:Dlf GD [Trj]
Yay and Stuff!!!
