please help me - Win32:malware-gen

This is what came up. I know it says that it was blocked and i dont need to do anything but i just want to make sure my computer is safe. I dont know much about this kind of stuff so please excuse my noobness. thanks guys hope you can help.

This was a FP and should be fixed already.
Please update your VPS, or allow stream updates.

i just did a scan on avast and it came up with 2 threarts

c:\program files (x86)\steam\bin\steamservice.exe high threat:win32:malware-gen
c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamerroreport.exe high threat:win32:malware-gen

and whats move to chest?

im not sure what version i currently have, how do i check?. What should i do with these 2 threats? should i update, run scan again and then deal with them?

Right click on the avast tray icon and select About avast!

virus definitions version: 120323-2

Are the files still being detected ? Asyn and Milos ( Avast Team ) said they were false / positive.

i updated avast and scanned again and no threats came up.
