Hello. I have eset nod32 and disabled it in startup in msconfig then i try to install avast 4.8 professional edition and yet it successfully installed. Then next thing i did is restarting my computer.after restarting, when i open my browser,the page is not loading. How come that i can’t access through internet? please help me… :cry:

hello? Is there somebody who can help me trubleshooting on accessing in internet while avast 4.8 pro edition is running

  1. You should uninstall all prior AVs before installing a new one…!!
  2. You better use the new avast 5.0…!! (Latest version: see my sig)

is that better than 4.8 professional edition? but if i install version 5,my problem again is the licensed key. :cry:

And then:
Still using 4.8 Professional? Download and Install version 5.0 Professional http://www.avast.com/lp-upgrade-4-5-paid

Note: Your current remaining license period will be maintained. Simply download and install the new version.

The problem is probably bc you have ESET and avast! 4.8 installed at the same time…

i have already uninstalled avast 4.8 but im afraid to uninstalled too my eset because i am n0t sure if i have uninstalled eset and installed a new one called avast 5.0, yet still cant access internet,how would i turn back eset if i want to uninstall again the avast 5.0 because of not accessing internet?

what is the difference of supply an avast 4.x license key and a licensed key? and the activation key?can you provide me for that?:slight_smile:

did you run a removal tool after uninstalling ESET so all leftovers are gone ?
you can find it here #11 http://uninstallers.blogspot.com/ run it and reboot

what is better? avast 5 pro or AIS? is it good to run this both? or only one?
