I am getting pop ups from amb of warnings. I am somewhat computer illiterate. Please work with me. Thank you for any help.

I have ran both scans and have included logs. I cannot figure out how to change format from txt to ansi with otl logs. Thanks

Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot

Run OTL

[*]Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
[*]Accept the disclaimer and allow to update if it asks

[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Notes:

  1. Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
  2. Do not “re-run” Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

second otl scan after fix.

going to combo fix next.

ran combofix and it stalled. x out after about an hour. ran scan and then was attempting to repair . Would not progress. No log from combofix. please instruct how to proceed.

Could you reboot to safe mode menu please and see if the option “Repair My Computer” is available

To get to the menu Reboot and press then hold F8

If it is not there do you have the windows CD

If no CD do you have a USB drive of at least 1GB
