Please help with error message

I have the full version of Avast. Everything says that it is working; however, when I start up my computer I get this pop up:

avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport #607 Failed
avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport #781 Failed

What does this mean?

I also keep trying to register for the help section from the Avast Support page and although I put in the correct characters, a message keeps telling me that they are wrong.

This is unacceptable. If I cannot get this resolved then I will seek another anti-virus program. I have got to have good security on this computer.
