I have been with avast for over 4yrs and gave it to just about everyone I know and now im stuck sitting here sick and for the last 3yrs, its been ware this ware that but in all of this i have found avast to in a sense not as great as it use to be. IMO :)…
Here is my one prob, that is driving me nuts and had to shut down whole system to post this… How do you shut off that screwed up scanner and sorry they will not answer in tech lol… this has been going on for 2days even did a uninstall and my god, what a nitemere and then what is up with the red x on my outlook? or at this point sorry so sick that its either that or (sorry when its to hot my edema gives it to me sorry but ya know which Billy Ga$tes, jerk has on it for us and im sorry I have never had one virus and am using stinger for now to help me post this I worked with old billy and he was a nobody then and with all this garbage he has done to our system. oh ya I find it in ways funny that what with all the old money and he can hop on over to Calif but leave his sweet wife alone in my god wash, use to live there and sorry its not a place for action but tell it to old billy he plays it so well and gee soon we will all be forced to make that major decison to switch to foxfire or pay for upgrades he knows it and could fix all this oh sure we really needed that 2.0 but he did nothing for one yr but when ;D foxfire jumped on my goodness her he now comes with so many updates and feel so bad for people who don’t have money to spend on brand new OS, so he makes then get rid of 98 or gee guess it won’t be long even i will after 
getting my 2nd brand new system from microsoft from there messed up 17 techs and so its nice… When your stuck on a couch and with cancer and spend all the time doing the tech and sorry Im not anything but a novice with all this I know nothing and now gee AVAST is letting in several viruses and yes daily im scanning this and that and well before I leave AVAST and I don’t want to but if this is a new my god the Avast on Access Scanner its so rude and why even come on now days funny was down about a week till my lolrof quick restore that cost me thanks to the tech who forgot to give me my restore cd, it costs me 72.00 for 2mins of being told that it was a burnt out factory restore from geeks, well then sorry more money and with the meds i have to pay for i can’t be spending money on shipping me and then had to pay for the 3CDs ok overnite but come on what would you do in a room day in and nite stuck with hateful parents who well a blast just leave you in this 2 story hot room and ya i could drop dead who would know and who knows still could happen, yes its an every day thing around here but i stay in peace most of the time as all this time when everyone is out swiming and i hear them and think , Ya god thanks, what a fun time so i have a walkmen and can’t drive and the funniest part of all was i came here to help my mom detox off pills of 53yrs before my time and now she is 73yrs and back on then and gee so is the male as well so to me I have lived a great life given out so much to all with asking nothing in return and here I am all I want how funny is to pls someone tell me how to shut off the scanner it never did this before till one day i went to avast site and was thinking of buying pro, then my god all of the sudden the scanner came on and never shut off… please thanks to whoever took the time to give me life back as here there is no TV, no music only with earphones and I think its ok one day life will pay all bac who is part of all this and its ok never help an addict not even your own mother…but at least im at peace and tho im now waiting for our county to come and let me know if they will give me a ride to the drs if not then im in my car and thats that… but its ok would rather die there then in this house of hate where the male here has a brand new car but can’t even take me to the store let alone the drs but wants me out and i was the one who helped my mother…its ok he is in pain and hateful and life will help him i hope to somehow one day understand all i went through here for now 5yrs and use to live alone and loved it and never say never:) welll for all you who know DR. PHIL thanks…IM a nurse well now a nothing but its funny when you have gifts to help people hard at times to say no, now if i make it thorugh this and its not good yet there is always hope for all out there never forget that, and love kills hate:) My thoughts are with you all and thank you for just taking time out of your life to read this tho no need to answer bac only pls let me know how to shut it off… ok now have to get it back on or my god the bugs will be here in no time the scan stopped;) thanks

Can you please tell us in short what the REAL problem is?
We are not here to read a entire book 
To turn off avast scanner, right click on the blue “a” ball near the time and then point to stop provider and then click on standard shield when the sub-menu pops out.
You may want to get into contact with the Child Welfare League of America or call them on 202/638-2952 to maybe help you with your situation.
You could try using Linux if you really hate windows that much.

I never wanted to leave AVAST to me its the best and so many have let me know a big thank you…I tell them to maybe not say to much or we might be charged the owners agreed that they would rather the home user keep the bugs under control sorry its been 5yrs with them and not one prob till this and its ok now…

I think Eddy was like me, I took one look at the huge black block of text (with little or no white space to make reading easier) and gave up trying to find what the problem buried in the text.
Now that may well be a failing in me and English is my first language, unlike Eddy who speaks a few different languages, but English is not his first language. So he is likely to have had more of a problem reading the long block of text than I did and I gave up. I never even replied, at least Eddy did respond and basically said he had a problem extracting what the problem is.
For the most part everyone here is a volunteer giving of their time to help but it is difficult when you have to read so much to extract the problem, so when time is limited some (like me) may give up and move on to help someone else.
I went back to your first post and I failed again, I just can’t read text blocks like that, sorry.
I gave up after about 2 min. of reading.
I couldn’t figure out if you had a problem or an agenda.
I think that if someone needs help, then we must try our best to help them no matter what their presentation is like.
I also think that it is healthy for people to vent their feelings and emotions. It makes them feel better afterwards, and they are less likely to have nervous breakdown or something.

Dear Kathy!!!OK i don’t get it!You are an American?Cause i always believed they spoke english there!I don’t understand at least half of your post and i think i’m not the only one here just try to keep in mind that this is an INTERNATIONAL forum so proper english(gramar) is desired so that we can all understand each other!Other than that i’m sorry if life has been hard on you but if you feel you need to talk to someone there are some really great people here!!!
P.S:I had levkemia a couple of years back but i got trough it and i hope you can defeat that cancer too!!!Remember our mind is our greatest weapon!!!OH and Xistenz you are a great guy!!!
