Please Help! :(

Ok. So I did the scan and there was not a single virus found, just some minimal spyware that was deleted, and…

Now, again I’m not a big computer guy, so when I clicked to fix the problem, I got:

So…to attempt to get rid of it, I click the patch information link, and get this page:

The problem is…I don’t know what ‘.NET Framework’ means, and if I’m using 1.0 or 1.1 - and if I’m using Service Pack 1, 2 or 3. How would I check this?

Thanks.

Shane

Shane this means that you should update your windows. After you do that this will go away

Merry Christmas BTW

Mikey

It’s a part of Windows. Just update.

Yes he is, at the time I posted, he may not have fixed it yet. So the reason I mentioned was if he found himself suddenly disconnected (it is if it were his ISP) he would know why and now what to do to resolve it.

I never checked IP location as I don’t know his ISP or where he lives, etc. Probably doubtfull that he lives in the Ukraine with a name like ShaneTerry, although not impossible so I didn’t make any assumptions, which is why I suggested he check.

But i did check them you see otherwise i wouldn’t have told him to remove them…And the IP’s look very similar to the ones from where some of the malware was downloaded.
Now that being said i’m not gonna discuss this further as his problems are solved now and there is absolutely no need for further posts in this thread except if Shane needs more help.Case closed.

Downloaded the update, all is good!

Big thanks to everyone who replied and gave time to help me out. ;D I’ve learned a lot and am very thankful.

So, avast! full version here I come. ;D

Cheers,

Shane
